Did you know: Fewer than 2% of ALL college students
in the United States study abroad?
Students have always had reservations about pursuing education internationally whether for financial reasons or because it had never crossed their minds. However, contrary to popular belief, studying abroad is
an incredibly feasible and life-changing experience that is rarely offered or promoted to American students.
The Study Abroad Office at California State University, Long Beach has been championing this very opportunity, successfully sending thousands of eager and ambitious students to numerous countries and
prestigious foreign institutions.

Wok Around the World is an event put together by CSULB students who are passionate about international education. The event will advocate and raise awareness for the Study Abroad Office at CSULB.
It will aim to share specific information regarding the finances and benefits of studying abroad and communicate to students its accessibility and financial feasibility. Wok Around the World will promote a sense of global community through a virtual cooking class and will also host testimonials from study abroad alumni
as well a Q&A session at the end of the event.
